I've set up a 'new' account as christ knows what mail I used to reg up originally.

I don't think there'll be much point contacting an admin for help for a week or so, I don't see my login problems as being seen as high priority.

I'm done with HC. Completely. Heap of shite. Will be doing ALL my posting here from now on! :grin:

I've been here not half an hour or so, and I already dig this place more than I ever liked HC.

Mainly, because of the sub-forum separation. I always found this really hard to explain, so bear with me. On HC, each sub-forum had it's own "tribe"... like, each sub-forum was a community in its own. Each one had their own set of users, if you will. I always thought that SUCKED.

Here, it seems everyone's spread out all over the place - posting about guitars in the guitar section, effects in the effects section, amps in the amp section, etc etc - JUST HOW IT SHOULD BE!!!!

I've heard the admin on HC say they want it to be the best community on the web for musicians. PAH! With the problem I outlined above, and now the shittay user interface, that will never happen. They've got their heads so far up their arses.

Screw HC. Wein is the way :Wave:
 
I have the bookmark for this forum set to the homepage with all the video lessons, so if I want to read the forum I have to first look at the video lessons. Hopefully this will make me watch the videos and play more guitar :embarrassed:

I dunno, I quite liked the tribishness of HC, you got some great groups of people with individual characteristics, depending on what you were in the mood for.

I guess I'm just not bothered about 'subject specific' chat any more. I just like having a good chinwag, be it about guitars, footy, ladies, whatever comes up :shrug:

True... but that isn't really the way a forum should be. I always thought that when I was posting there.

There's none of that here... plus, he's got sections for food and cars. IN :love:
