No... it's this guy I'm talking to on YouTube. He has a beat-to-shit 1953 Les Paul Goldtop that I MIGHT be able to buy as a project for dirt cheap. I've made him an offer, but I'm yet to hear back. It all hangs on his price, and whether he'll ship her to the UK.

I don't want to say much, because I don't want to get my, or your, hopes up. It's just an idea I'm throwing around. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon.

Mo, the strings got here... I wasn't expecting two packs! I can't thank you enough, mate, this is so generous of you. You really helped me out a lot :thu:

Despite not having a neckplate (will get one soon), and only four standard-size tuners (I have six vintage ones, but they need special bushings - will get them soon), I strung it up, because I was so desperate to play electric again. Heaven. I rocked out all afternoon, if only with four strings! It felt amazing having steel strings under my fingers again, and my amp was on top of its game today. Epic classic rock toans from a Squier with a Mighty Mite neck plugged straight into a Stagg practice amp :grin::grin::grin:

i may have had ideas of grandeur with the backing vox so my throat's a bit sore now.

I shall cure this sore throat and perishing thirst with some february vintage grape juice :embarrassed:

I got a massive urge to play Pokémon Gold about a week ago and i am just falling asleep with it.
