Hey Euro's its that time again (again)

My company works a half day on Fridays (allegedly) so should be out of here by 1.30 hopefully.

First gig with new band on Saturday, so this afternoon I have to restring the two guitars I'm taking to let the strings settle in.

I too should be out of here at about 1.30pm. Then i do believe its shopping time. At a supermarket. Life in the fast lane doesnt get much wilder than that.
 
Hes right! Ok well kind of. i was once at my sisters house whose Scottish boyfriend was there with a few of his mates.This was in Scotland you understand. As far as I remember it was England V Mexico and my oh my was I (and my German then girlfriend) at how much swearing and hate was coimng from these 4 Scots towards the English. It was quite an eye opener.

not really. Football-wise, yes there is a lot of animosity (like the Dutch and the Germans ). But otherwise there's no real hate against English people as far as I know, it's more the fact that Scotland is ruled by Southern-English toffs who have no interest in Scotland, but only cater for the rich English southerners. In that way, they even feel a kinship to the North of England

And the protests against him were not anti-English, but anti-racist Europhobic twats :embarrassed:

I was quite surprised to find myself reading about David Beckham's retirement. I was under the impression that he had retired from professional football years ago, because he was far too busy being famous to do anything other than play the odd game for LA Galaxy by way of a bit of a hobby. As for Paris... who (apart from Frenchies of course) ever went to Paris to work?

got woken up at 5 this morning by my daughter who was wide awake. I didn't really appreciate it :embarrassed:

Our routine has recently changed at home, and for the past week I've been getting up at 6:30 instead of 7:45. Feck me, I'm knackered.
