Hey! Are your ear lobes flabby and gross? Does it sicken people when you wear heavy earrings?

If you get your ears pierced by an actual piercing artist rather than a teenage girl at Claire's, it won't be an issue. In the body mod community, many choose to intentionally stretch, either to accommodate larger pieces and plugs, or they just enjoy stretching for its own sake.

They are all artificially inseminated now. One because the calf’s can be sexed before hand, and bulls are too dangerous to have around.

Real talk; how does that change things as far as M/F ratio industry-wide? Are steps being taken to ensure a diverse male breeding stock, or do you think bull numbers could one day be at critical levels?

Pierced ears are a turn off for me. I don't like how the piercing turn hard. Makes wonderful ear lobes awful. Unfortunatly, not many women that don't have pierced ears.

And now, they will all read this and decide not to join the forum.

I can’t really answer that since it’s not really my end of the business. I have no idea.

What I do know is in the dairies they don’t want any males. So the semen is pre-sexed. 99% of the time they get females. The vet can choose between thousands of different “samples “ to address all kinds of issues they might have with their herd. Register cows have breeding records just like registered dogs.

I don’t have any beef producers as customers, so I don’t have any idea how they do things.

yeah, it was mostly artificial back when I was around such things too. Maybe they weren't as good at sexing or something, because raising the males to sell for beef was fairly common

And that might still be a thing. I can only speak for the people I work for. My customers are mostly in the 2,500-4,000 head range.

I was mainly interested because of culinary supply implications. I wish more people paid attention to where their food actually came from.

Do your ears hang low?
Do they waggle to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can throw o'er your shoulder,
Like a Continental soldier?
Do your ears, hang, low?

Someone had to. At least someone who attended Scout camp as a kid had to.
