HCEG 2.0 Fails, I'm comin over here!

Another former HCer here. Over there I was Cale76. Thought I'd switch it up a bit for here and a few other places. Kind of been out of the forum loop for awhile, but just went to HC an hour ago or so and it was not a happy fun place to be. So now I'm a nomad, happy that Mark has this forum. Not to mention a ton of great videos. Thanks Mark, for helping us all.

Everyone still here? Or are people being lured back to HC?

I'll monitor over there, but I ain't gonna get sucked back in only to be punched in the nuts again when they flip the switch next time.

After witnessing certain members over there touting the 2.0 as the second coming, only to have it switched BACK to the 1.0,....thus proving them wrong......but all the while they were making disparaging, nasty remarks about US for leaving.....

I really have no desire to go back.

I have no desire to go back at all.

So, I guess you're stuck with me.

im just a bit of a carpetbagger.. so i see no shame in visiting any forum.. hell im also a member of the Les Paul Forum and even the Agile, the internet is a big place you can glean information from everywhere..
but i have no shame.. dont be like me...

I think folks are burned out on the BS today. I am, too...just took the dog for a walk to get away from the stupid computer.

HC now has it's traffic split between two parallel sites and some of the new folks here are splitting their time all over the place so I don't really think any of the forums are really going to get too much traffic. Unless I change my mind or something comes up I'm just going to post my lessons stuff on HC in the 1.0 site, though.

I'm staying here, as well as there, HCEG still feels too cold and empty since the change, no matter how hard they're working to bring us back ...

It's really odd with them running 2 parallel but distinct message boards. Every time a switch back or forth happens a week or so of posts disappear. Hard to get too involved in a conversation.

i don't find that to be the case... all the threads and posts seem to be intact... just sayin....

when 1.0 came back online, not only were the last few mins of posts still there, but so were the threads/posts made on Saturday the 10th when we found the old IP addy online...

now going forward there will definitely be two different forums...

i don't think that is the consensus with most members over there... just sayin ....

But there is nobody left there. Literally half the posts on the first page haven't been replied to in over 8 hours. That's ridiculous considering how much traffic HCEG used to generate.

i still think as people discover the old forum is up, more and more people will return...

of course that is just my opinion....

I think people are burnt out on this whole thing, tbh. They've settled in at TGP and some other places and might just be waiting for this to all blow over before they decide to return. In any event the 1.0 posts will probably not make it into 2.0 unless this goes on for a few months....I think people might also care if their build threads and whatnot are actually going to exist next month.
