Has HC folded?

Hi guys. Pretty shallow debut but HC now only returns an Invision notice. Community Unavailable Contact Ownership more or less. Having no such info I'm giving this place a try. Mark is or was an Admo there. Anybody know what happened?

Other than that, I drum and guitar (verb) albeit not professionally.

I'm buying the discard back issues of Acoustic Guitarist from my library (25 cents a pop) and just read an article from maybe '10 excitedly reporting that Gibson had taken over and was going to Make HC Great Again.

Gibson bailed and took Phil and Dendy leaving 50, 100 or so active members. Mikeo was still running OJ when it disappeared. Have no idea who was running the place.

That's the great (one of the great things about MWGF) is that we are indie and not corporate

Back during the heyday of the pandemic I re-registered under a different name so I could harass the idjits on the Political Forum.
But that got boring pretty fast and I havnt checked it out in several months.
Talk about a slow agonizing death, lol.

As I recall it:

1. 2008. Basically just Mark’s business website, but with a forum

2. 2008. Mark welcomes disgruntled HCGJ members who felt hurt and vulnerable following the results of the 2008 election.

3. 2009. HC collapses, and Mark takes in everyone in his boat, like a much kinder-hearted Noah.
