THis guy: Bucky Dude AKA Bucky Goldstein among others.

Yeah, he was an asshole. Killed coyotes with his assault rifle.

Yeah, Bucky was banging college students. He was a freak. Jimmy James was actually Oscar Jordan I read he articles in Vintage Guitar all the time and he's one hell of a guitar player. .

He has a profile worth following on Facebook. Nice guy in person.

Oscar is a good guy. We haven’t had a hang in a couple of years but we used to see each other every Namm show and occasionally come to each other’s gigs.

We had a nice little community going in the songwriting forum on HC. I'm legit nostalgic for those times.

Truth. I learned a ton in there. Being able to offer criticism to other folks tunes was really useful. As a young writer, that was huge because I wasn’t already attached to words and through that process learned what did and did not work for me.

I tried other songwriting forums but they always seemed like places to get pats on the back. Not the best thing if you actually want to get better at the craft.

I started in GJ, then moved to the Vets forum, which was named Cool Jam at some point. I moved here from there during The Great MWGF Exodus.

Danocoustic was a cool guy but he did have his mood swings. He’s alright in my book.
TAH was in Vets as well, along with a bunch of other good people.

Yup, Vets turned into Cool Jam after a year or two’s worth of inactivity following the exodus to Funky’s. I can’t remember too many of those names. bob ingram. Rob Quail. Doc Wilson. I sold a Hughes & Kettner to one of them.

When I first went to HC I started in the MAPS forum. Ultimately moved out to GJ, Electric Guitar and Acoustic Guitar forums. There were some pretty cool people in MAPS despite everything.

I really am not too active but I wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for HC, I wouldn't be recording if it weren't for JJ Pistols. Really sad to see the demise, but this has been a wonderful place to be a refugee

You don’t have to live like a refugee.
