I'm drinking a selection of Belgian beers my wife brought theme from the fancy beer store. A very nice birthday present. She also ordered me something guitar related that will be controversial here, but it will not arrive until next week, and I want to spend some time with it before I post.

Nah, even worse. I can't say much more without giving it away, but it a guitar, it isn't all that expensive, and it is pretty much a strat copy. It has some unusual features I want to see if I find useful before I give away the details.
