Hot or Not? Gretsch 5420T FSR White with Gold Hardware

I like that it's a bit plainer than a Falcon. The gold metal flake trim on a Falcon just takes it too far over the top for me.

To me, the falcon is cool because it's the poster child of bad taste. They threw every gaudy piece of bling they could think of then made up gold sparkle binding to push it so far over the top that it's halfway up the next hill.
I don't like bling much but the falcon is one I make exception for because if you're gonna be bad, you should be fucking nasty about it.
A vegetarian never cheats with a Slim Jim. It's filet or nothing!

I have no problems with gold hardware. My Country Club has gold hardware. Combined with its caddy green finish, it makes for a killer look. The 5420 FSR kind of looks like shades of a White Falcon, so I think it looks pretty cool.

I agree wholeheartedly. The White Falcon is uber cool.
But myself, I just could never play one in public.
a) it dosn't go with my more reticent personality.
b) its a big and really blingy guitar on a small person (I'm 5'7" 165lbs.)
c) If your gonna play such a "look at me" guitar, you better be able to deliver something worth the look. I'm not that skilled.

I'd prefer an Anniversary in natural if you could get it.
Annie Green is about a showy as I an see myself with.
