Give me something to watch on Netflix

Vince Giliagan and Rhea Seahorn teaming up again is enough to hook me in from the get go.
She was awesome in Pluribus! I have maybe seen her in one other movie. For some reason I never got into Better Call Saul. I will have to circle back to that.

The first couple of seasons were something that wasn't exactly working, until they killed off Chuck. Not that Michael McKean was dead weight, just that his character was.

I disagree. Chuck McGill was an important part of the back story for Slipin’ Jimmy McGill (aka Saul).

The slower story development in Better Call Saul is not for everyone. Same with Plur1bus.

Some people only like fast paced with lots of action. The slow burn is an acquired taste.

I actually enjoyed it enough with him in it, but things did get a lot better once that anchor was cut.

I'm two episodes into the first season of Hijack with Idris Elba. So far it's keeping me engaged. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Did anyone ever watch a series called Debris a few years back? The premise was that an alien spaceship exploded and pieces of it have been falling to Earth. The technology is so advanced that each piece causes magical/supernatural effects or has specific properties. The show follows a couple of government agents who are in charge of tracking and collecting the pieces. Lots of mystery and weird, twisty situations.

It cancelled after one season, which was a disappointment, because I thought it was awesome. I can't even find it on streaming at all anymore.

Did anyone see the movie Bugonia? I finally watched it. I assume it will eventually end up on Netflix.

I was a little disappointed. The acting was top notch. But, I did not think the overall concept was particularly original and the plot twist was predictable. I don’t think the story warranted a two hour movie. To me the story was more in line with a 30 or 60 minute episode on a TV series.

Bugonia reminded me of the plot of a movie from 2016, which was better IMO. I don’t want to name it because it could act as a spoiler.

I hope the rest of you enjoy Bugonia, or enjoyed it, more than I did. It was just ok for me. Maybe, I should have smoked a joint before viewing it. :bigg:
