Give me something to watch on Netflix

Longlegs is relevant to the interests of this forum. Hammer horrorish. A typically gonzo performance from Nic Cage. Hail Satan!

Hail Satan! I enjoyed it very much. I liked the Lynchian oddness, like there's an 'off-ness' in how everyone spoke to each other. And Nic Cage was great. Even though I knew it was him, it took me some time to recognise 'Nic Cage' in the character. It wasn't until the interrogation scene that Icould see him through the makeup and hear him in his voice.

Boy, Longlegs was some creepy, enjoyable shit.

Thanks for the recommendation. Slow creepy, reminded me of Eyes of my Mother in the way how the protagonist is so awkward.

Watching Moonage Daydream. It has taken me 3 sittings to get through it. It would bore me and I would stop. I wanted to know something more about Bowie but I’m not stimulated by the fantasy weirdness. Not a repeat watch for me.

HBO’s A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms is good (6 episodes). It’s classic and straightforward storytelling. If you liked the Novellas and/or Game Of Thrones, you may like it.
We really enjoyed it. It's a shame it was such a short first season. Six episodes at just over half an hour each.

The English humor had me laughing too.

The new RHCP doc on Netflix, our friend Hillel, was really good. It's the weirdest thing--i can make it through about 30 seconds of a chili peppers song, but I'm fascinated with their story and love hearing the instrumentalists talk about the process.

Just finished watching Crap Happens on Netflix. It's a stupid but pretty funny series dubbed in English from Germany. Basically, it's good crap.

Watching a 2026 Tony Robbins special with Bon Jovi. Interviews and the band playing. Jon putting the new voice out there. Interesting.

There's been some murmurs that Flea is taking drugs.

We watched Anaconda a couple of nights ago. I'm used to Jack Black doing some hit or miss type stuff, but did Paul Rudd lose a bet or something? I like weird campy stuff, but that was just bad.

Watch Sarah Millican Late Bloomer. She's always been pretty funny, but she's on a roll in this special.

McCartney: The Hunt For The Lost Bass is worth a watch for musos like us. It tells the story of the hunt for his 61 Hofner that disappeared around the time The Beatles split up.

My favourite bit is when Hawkwind briefly turn up as suspects. You wouldn't put it past Lemmy!

It's on the iPlayer in the UK.

I’m watching Black Sails, a pirate series. Only thing one of the bad ass pirates was the sex addict on Shameless that gave himself a blowjob while handcuffed to the bed. You can’t unsee that shit.

I'm very late to the party with this one, but have any of you watched the show Harlots? I started watching it over the weekend and ended up binging the whole first season. It's a bit racy, mind you!
