Give me something to watch on Netflix

We're nearly finished season 2 of sneaky Pete, we're really enjoying it.
I like the actors. I liked the acting. It's not perfect, but I enjoyed it as far as I got, which is roughly half-way through the 2nd season. I should go back and finish it.

There was an episode in season 1 where they introduced a bunch of characters and I thought it was going to get convoluted but it's not.

My only main big bears is the blonde girl isn't a great actress at times and again the "edgy" clued up headstrong teen that just doesn't ring true as a character.

Idk what ive posted prior but over the last year or so I've watched, off the top of my head:

Slow Horses - quite good
Department Q - also rather good
Latest season of black mirror - meh
Murder Bot - nice campy black humorish sci-fi
Giri/Haji - starts strong and loses steam part way. Though, the final episode has some really compelling elements that make up for some of the outlandish plot.
The Studio - I can only tolerate so many episodes of constant cringe and celebrity cameos without much else meat on the bone
Severance season 2 - fantastic
Dark Matter - I'm multi versed out
Long Way Home - I'm a fan of their content, in general. This one had a nice mix of everything between people, places, and motorbikes.
Latest season of Clarkson's Farm - definitely enjoyable, even if you're already somewhat tired of Clarkson's worn out his welcome personality.

It’s solid and fun.

The novels are the best of the best for fun (and funny) spy novels out there, so if the shark jumps, it won’t be from the plot.

I didn’t love one of the seasons, though.
Now, that I’ve caught up, I get it. Two good seasons out of the 1st 3. I wonder if season 4 will be a winner?

I’ve watched them all. Some are better than others, of course. But the only one that was a drag was the one that spends too much time with small airplane pilots.

Fair enough. I actually had a different issue.

Of course, there has to be some suspension of disbelief watching this kind of entertainment. One season, of the 1st 3, pushed it too far for me.

I’d really recommend that you give this a shot. Especially since it’s often easy to dismiss adult animated shows. But it’s very good, damn it.

Norman's Rare Guitars seem relevant to the interests of this forum. It's a documentary telling the story of Norman Harris and his eponymous LA guitar store but also leans heavily into the love of the instrument and the phenomenon of GAS. Seems to be on Netflix in some countries but maybe not all.

A ridiculous who's who of a cast. If they play guitar or are a Hollywood actor who plays guitar they're in there. Including the late Robbie Robertson and Taylor Hawkins who must have been filmed not long before they died.

Enjoyable watch but slightly frustrating to see thousands of guitars in storage.

Anyone ever been?

The F1 movie is utter shite.

the premise that a 50 something can step into a F1 car after 30 years it fails as basic storytelling. It's pointed out several times that safety is a priority but Brad Pitt's character only way of success is to thow that out the window. He causes several collisions and then nearly kills his teammate and everyone just kind of shrugs. It insults both Americans (brash rule breakers who know NOTHING of F1) and everyone else (boring rule followers, fucking laws of physics).

But worse. Brad wins. And walks of into the sunset. Meanwhile the kid tells the most powerful man in F1 to fuck off because he somehow is now the star by crashing out and winning fuck all. It's like Obi Wan survives and Biggs getting all the medals at the end of Star Wars. Fucking morons.

Watched the previews, saw the shit and passed.

The second season of Sandman is underwhelming so far. My kid is into K Pop Demon Hunters, and I've enjoyed the bits I've been in the room for.
