Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle Astronaut John Young dead at 87

When you see video of Young stepping out of the orbiter on the runway, you can see he's still fired up. He stepped down and immediately walked the entire length of Columbia, looking at everything. He was definitely pumped.

Don't forget that this was also after being cooped up in the orbiter for a fair amount of time after landing. NASA had a big group of vehicles surrounding the spacecraft post landing. They were concerned about unburned propellants and other toxic stuff coming off the vehicle.
