Flyers....WOW! Best hockey game I have ever seen.

Should have shown the black Flyers jerseys.
Those are sharp.

And actually, I have always thought Montreal had the best looking uniforms......

I must disagree. Allow me to clear that up...

Nothing strikes fear into an opponent like a man-sized creamsicle.

This is a goofy debate, but I'd like to point out that the Hawks uniform & logo are among the best in the NHL.

Isn't it odd, though, that the Montreal CANADIENS wear uniforms that are colored red, white and blue?

Let me clarify: best in SPORTS
Blood-red Hawks vs. Creamsicles in the Finals? I'm up for that :thu:

Montreal needs to do something different very quickly......

Getting pounded.

There was an article I read by some Montreal sportswriter that said after the Habs 6-0 loss the other night, that it was the refs' fault and that Flyers were playing dirty and THAT's why Montreal lost.

Un-huh, 6-0 and it's the refs' fault........right.

Nothing worse than a sore loser.

I admittedly don't know too much about the Blawkhawks or the Sharks this year....but if you're going to call them the "Creamsicles", can you at least make it the "Very NASTY Creamsicles"?

It looks like all that noise affects your guys more than the visiting team. :embarrassed:

I think the most appropriate term to describe the game last night would be: Dominated.

Puck possession, defense and goaltending were the key factors just like I said yesterday.

Thornton got away with murder last night, he should have been whistled for slashing at least twice. He won't get the same benefit of the doubt this weekend.

Oh and by the way Versus really sucks, the most craptastic hockey coverage on TV.

That's actually the matchup I've been hoping for. :thu:

It's an interesting conference final matchup, you've got two teams that weren't very good during the season who both got hot in the playoffs and two of the best teams in regular season going at it.

I was watching the game last night and for some reason I remembered that my Grandfather had Hawks season tickets back in the 1950's.
