Flamed Wine Red Les Paul Build

I said it before, and I'll say it again - fucking hell, man, that's just unbelievable. I can just tell from the pictures that that is one amazing guitar.

If I had money, and the playing skill worthy of such a great guit, I would gladly pay you whatever it takes to create a '52 Goldtop replica. I've wanted one ever since I played a Gibson one a couple of months ago.

Anyway... great build, man. You are the Les Paul King :thu:

Looking at the pics again, I am not so sure, it might be a trick of the camera.
Still, amazing guitar.

ah i see what you are asking...

the binding is 3/32" wide. i liked it liked that width, but when i built the guitar i could not find the correct router bit/bearing combination to route a 3/32" channel. i routed a 1/16" channel with all intentions of sanding/scraping down the sides of the binding to match the guitar sides. however i like the width as i said, so i left it. the binding does extend 1/32" out further than the body.

i did however, buy a specialty bit/bearing from stewmac that routes the 3/32" channel so future builds will be flush...
