Hot or Not? Fender Japan Stratocaster Thinline

It got my attention because I'm still considering a double humbucker semi-hollow as the next guitar.

There are several solid body Reverends that could bump this off the radar, of course.

I've lusted the notion of a bound plank Strat since SRV was on the cover of Guitar World in '86 or '87 with the Hamiltone that Billy Gibbons gave him:

just know that Japan vintage frets are not the same as US vintage. the Japan are a tad taller and not as wide.

I just don't like F Holes. The rest of the guitar is awesome. I'll just have McFeely make one without an F-Hole
