I rarely watch broadcast TV anymore. Too many stupid commercials. But I do enjoy checking out the local infobabes out of Boston. A couple of the reporters we had here are now on network TV.

Yeah, a lot of people like to refer to "the media" as this huge, monolithic beast. It's not like all us media people get together each week to figure out new ways we're going to screw Trump.

Most public figures work their way up into the medias eye. The media took Trump and told us how great he was in order to build up ratings and make a buck. Now much like Dr. Frankenstein their monster as got out of their control and has turned on it's creator. Others have built more impressive buildings and have more money than Trump but we don't know their names because the media hasn't figured out a way to make a buck off of them. If the media had chosen Steve Winn instead Trump would never be running. Also Trump's celebrity status is why he has spent almost nothing on ads. All he has to do is say something and he gets a million dollars worth of free publicity from the celebrity hungry media.

Someday the media will have to answer for two things, the Kardashians and Trump.

For my serious answer I concur with GilmourD. Rachel is very competent, quick as a whip and not ashamed to publicly apologise when she's wrong, on air to her viewers.

Sure she's liberal leaning, but that aside she seems to have the most integrity from all the pundits out there.
