Every time I watch the Concert for Bangla Desh

NOW YOU TELL ME!

So tax refund + not having to pay for food, transportation, or really anything besides my rent and utilities for a month equals a 2004 MIJ '57 Reissue Strat with stock Texas Specials coming my way....

in OLYMPIC White. Seems fitting.

I wonder if @Brian Krashpad was the photographer.

Not that I really think it makes a huge difference from basswood, which I have nothing against, but alder just seems right.

The GAS'n I get from performances of that era of GH is his rosewood Tele

Although I understand they are rather dense, which makes me think the tone might be a bit "toppy", but if they're resonant, then I'd be lighting my after burners for one. But I do remember seeing a RI of that just a few years back, and they were pricey (naturally) but I couldn't bring myself to take the plunge without playing one first.

An Olympic white strat seems more doable. ;^)

The 80s Japanese reissues used to be affordable, but not any more. They are lighter than the original ones like George's (69 I believe).
