Elvis tries his hand at psychedelia

Motorik

Kick Henry Jackassowski

I know we are all loyal subjects of The King here, but perhaps you are unfamiliar with The King's foray into what sounds like a mindbending quasi-Bond theme experiment?

Should he have done a Bond theme?

Should he had gone further with the psych-pop?

Yes! Well spotted, it's Dick Sargent. The second Derwood, I mean Darrin. :thu:

Interesting. Not off putting. And Bernice, Betty, Susie is hot.

She also starred as an (inexplicably minskirted) Native American girl opposite Frank Sinatra in the stunningly titled Dirty Dingus Magee, a film that gives Freddy Got Fingered a run for its money in terms of title and overall excellence.

It might be a listenable song if he hadn’t done that terrible vibrato most of the way through. It would probably sound pretty good with Grace Slick singing.

Wait...so Frank played a native American? The poster looks like he's a typical outlaw, but that photo has him dressed in tights as a brave?

My new head cannon is an alternate reality exists where he continued acting and did a a late-60's Easy Rider-like road trip movie with Ann Margaret, with performances of "Some Velvet Morning" and "Memo from Turner." Work in a scene featuring Hendrix and Nico cameos or something.
