Does anyone here want to do an internet music collaboration?

Hey Stomias,

I am having trouble syncing some of your parts. Especially that bitching B3 part. can you run the parts again to MP3 keeping the entire original length?

Hey Scott I just checked it and it is 2:embarrassed:0 long as is the backing track. Maybe it is just the count in? I made sure all of the tracks ran to the complete timeline as Dane requested. Truthfully Scott, I am a piss poor keyboard player and after listening to a short piece of the isolated B3 track I am embarrassed that I even put it out there......:)

Yeah.....could be that too. What I did was record a blank track the same length as the BT. Then when I had a track like the slide thing that's just near the end I mixed it down with the blank track so it would sync. The B3 track was probably 8-10 tracks all comped together because most times I can only play a couple of bars of keys before screwing up.

hey guys, so i know this thread went a little cold, but i did finally have a chance today to track some guitar and start bringing everything i'd received to-date together into one track. here's a link to the end result.

in addition to the backing track, the song includes Stomias (lead; pan 30% left, and the slide thing), Scott_Abene (rhythm guitar; pan hard left), mnewb1 (keyboard; pan hard right) and myself (lead; pan 30% right).

i recorded using a PRS Hollowbody II direct into a MOTU 8pre and then into some amp modeler in Logic.
I think Scott used his OLP Musicman into the AxeFX (Scott - keep me honest here)
I'm guessing Stomias used that old strat of his, but no idea (Stomias - feel free to chime in with guitar/amp/etc.)
mnewb1 used, well... a keyboard.

what do you think?

@Stomias
@mnewb1
@Scott_Abene
