Death Valley camping (pics.)

Did you get attacked by walking rocks?

On a serious note, I heard that just about a week ago or so the valley was in full bloom, flower-wise. I didn't realize that Death Valley had wildflowers. I thought it is pretty barren :embarrassed:

I didn't get a chance to go to the Race Track to see the rocks! Another trip, it was too long of a venture on our short trip. The science behind those are really cool though.

Way back, before the '90s, women used to grow hair down there...

BTW -- Love Death Valley in Jan-March. Don't love it so much April - Oct...

Yeah, I don't think it's well known to people these days unless your a manson scholar but Charlie had his hideout there where he was captured (Barker Ranch) and that was the impetus for my whole trip. It's south of furnace creek way near the sw National Park boundary

But I'm sure Charlies women had mucho hair...down there

Just think, this was someone's lifetime achievement.

Looks like 8-bit porn.

Do they allow back country camping?

yep, that area I posted had people camping (dispersed camping it's called) certain areas inside a National park might require a backcountry permit but protip for any BLM or national forest land out west at least....you can camp anywhere on public lands, public lands being BLM and National forest.

Good luck telling that to bigfoot.

Bigfoot is like a black bear....he is more frightned of you than you are of him and that's why people never see him. Just like a black bear he will run if you make noise and stand your ground.

Try telling that to bigfoot.
