DEAN ZELINSKY PRIVATE LABEL GUITARS

Say what you will about Deans and ugly headstocks...the guy was(is) a hell of a luthier, designer and marketer.

This is the one I like.

Thats a beautiful guitar, although that top just looks out of place on a Strat.

Th guitar is gorgeous. The necky-airy thing is dumb.

I don't think it's dumb. Recently, I was finishing a neck and before I sanded it, there were little pockets which would hold air, just like the neck-airy design. I noticed there was less friction when I played it and left it that way. It's like playing a mahogany neck that you can feel the grains on. Anyway, I like the idea.

i ordered a StrettaVita with the Z-Glide neck so i'll post here with a review when i get it. But just after i ordered it they showed off a personalised neck option that will be available in about a month, so i've decided to wait for it. If the StrettaVita is a decent quality guitar i'll probably go back for seconds and get a Tagliare in Walnut. For a compound radius Strat with locking tuners they are good value for money. On the Dean Zelinsky FB page they just posted some pics of a guy who bought 2, and liked them so much he just got another 3.

The bottom pic is pretty bad ass. I'd love to get something like that done. I may just end up getting one of their taglieres.
