And they announced it in all caps bold condensed centered type. This is why you don’t hire a graphic designer who went to the university of YouTube.

Reading around, Gibson will appeal the decision, but otherwise Dean will get a new jury trial with more established rules on what evidence they can submit (and, if evidence is excluded, the judge must explain to the jury the reason why).

Fuck Gibson in their faces.

No, seriiously. It's quite weird, but I've developed a real dislike for that brand. Their litigous nature has only made it worse over the years
Iconic guitars aside (albeit poorly made, and with obvious design flaws).

It's not a coincidence that players who would use LP's before are now using PRS's and Strats these days. Stability.

The couple of Gibson players who actually use their guitars live (apart from Slash), such as Alex Lifeson and Steve Hackett both use Floyds. That's not a coincidence.

I was just watching a YouTube shorts video on Dean winning this, and the video was posting a lot of pics throughout the years of players with Deans.

Saw a pic I have never seen before... Randy Rhoads playing a red Dean V that had white pickups. I've never, ever seen a picture of Rhoads playing a Dean before that one, I wonder if it was a guitar that RR owned, or if he was just jamming on someone else's guitar?

I looked it up, and sure enough it was for a gig just before he joined Ozzy from what I found.

Also found one that was for sale on reverb a few years back.

Apparently Dean wanted to do a limited run Randy Rhoads red V, and made a prototype. But Randy's mom shot it down, wouldn't give her permission, so they only made the 1. According to reverb it went for $2,700, not bad for a USA made 1 off guitar.

There's also story I've seen repeated a few times that RR went to Dean for an endorsement at some point early in his career but Dean declined, saying he wasn't big enough. Dunno how true that is.
