@Guitar Heel hit me up to go to their show last year. I'd never heard of them before, but am usually game for any live music. I checked them out and really liked them. They were pretty good live and their opener last year was pretty good too.

Wife has been listening to Chelsea Wolfe over and over (cough, honey, there are other artists) and it's pretty terrific.
Saw Neko Case last fall on a clear night, outdoors at the Santa Fe Opera House. A million stars and The Voice. Have been a fan since the late 90's, but she just keeps getting better.

First show of 2017 booked, snagged a ticket for Bon Iver at Merriweather in May. So excited, hopefully he doesn't cancel like he did with the Euros.

The band sounded great but it was a general admission sardine-fest. If the fire marshal had walked in I'm sure the whole thing would have been shut down. I couldn't take it—that sort of claustrophobia is misery for me—so we split about halfway through the show.
