I do have reservations about this Car Seat Headrest thing coming up. The writing seems much less crisp. Sonically, I can dig what he’s doing. But the lyrics seem more dashed off. Waiting until I can hear it all in context, but I’ve got some concerns that young William might be having whatever kind of slump it is when you make your second big record after a pile of Bandcamp things.

The little bit I've heard makes me feel like he was taken in by Billie Eilish and too many negative harmony videos on YouTube. I still like it.
