Based on the guitars that are on clearance, it looks like they are just discontinuing certain models that aren't selling. Notice there are no acoustics on clearance which sell quite well.

I’ve played some of the Eastwood stuff. They’re perfectly acceptable. Kinda bland. Sturdy enough. I’m sure the electronics and hardware could be upgraded. I’d say they’re on par with yr decent import items like Epiphone, Ibanez, MIM Fender. If the return policy is good enough for you, they’re worth a swing
