Actually I was just having fun. Not sure what the fuss is all about.

Saw CC live in London (Shepherd's Bush Empire) earlier this week. He's the sort of artist who has to do a lot of touring to make his work pay so pretty much any time you see him play you can expect something a bit different. He plays the old hits (Sailing, Ride Like the Wind, Arthur's Theme et al) as well as lesser-known stuff from his albums and sometimes mixes the arrangement up a bit to keep things fresh. The other band members contribute solos from time to time and CC also happens to be a very sharp guitarist and he treated us to a guitar version of John Lennon's Imagine for an encore.

Judie Tzuke was the supporting act (most famous for Stay With Me Till Dawn) and she gave us 45 minutes of her superb voice and had her daughter as one of the backing vocalists (also a very good voice) and a couple of boys on acoustic guitar. All in all, a great night's entertainment from two criminally undervalued musicians.

John Denver and Christopher Cross checking out John's new Lamborghini Countach. Ride like the wind, my friends.

Its only natural for a man to admire the Campbell era Oilers. But it went too far and now the gods are punishing Houston for its all daring pride.

I had a very unpleasant dentists appointment this morning. Over the course of 90 excruciating minutes, I heard 4 Christopher Cross songs.

That is all.

something does not add up....if you heard 4 CC songs then there is no way the appointment could've been unpleasant...jus sayin'

We've played Sailing in my church band a few times. Genius guitar work on that! Seems a lot harder to play than it really is due to an open tuning, but it's a beautiful part.

"Dear friends, I'm sorry to report that I am among the growing number of Americans who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus," Cross announced in a message posted to his Facebook page. "I'm not in the habit of discussing medical issues on social media, but I do so in hope this will help other people to understand how serious and how contagious this illness is. Although I am fortunate enough to be cared for at home, this is possibly the worst illness I've ever had. For those of you who still do not believe the COVID-19 virus is real, or think it is a 'hoax' or part of some conspiracy, my advice to you is to understand right now that this is a deadly illness spreading like wildfire throughout the world."
