Achtung! Chicagotonians

buses may appear to our eyes to be relatively large vehicles, but it turns out in reality they're actually small enough objects that waveparticle duality, and the uncertainty principles that come along with it, apply
it's all relative....busses appear to be big next to a Honda Fit but next to a 2022 GMC busses appear small

You can use the text-o-Rama thing on the bus stop sign that gives you sometimes accurate and sometimes useless info about the bus’ next arrival time. It’s a “text this code to 444WHERESTHEFUCKINGBUS” thing.

The bus at Jeff Park is difficult because you can’t do the normal bus summoning ritual of walking into the street and staring longingly in the direction the bus should be coming from.

In general, you can’t really know about the bus. And since Covid it’s a real crap shoot.

sorry i meant berthing and what not. like is it going to pull up over here or way over there where i need glasses to see anything.

whoa, like really really full on yabbatown; dart and I walked past that house with the black obelisk and that fancy pants courtyard buildings on Eastlake pretty much every day. The girl blowing bubbles under the L was an at least 2-3 times a visit on longer dawg walks

Probably saw some of dart's acquaintances. Very dogful walk, but most of them are.

More of the heights for ddbob. Might as well be San Francisco.

you should document the Generation Z street racing donut league of Chicago and post it here

That's the first time I'm seeing Wrigley since the update and it makes me sad. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to update it but it's not my fond memories anymore.

I'm not seeing a lot of cactus here and a severe lack of mountains  also what is up with streets in Chi town? Why the curvy street....do they not know what a right angle is ? Was the street designer drunk on Old Style

Property values skyrocketed since I lived there in the early 90's. Really wish I had bought a house there then. It's considered to be one of the more desirable areas to live on the north side.
