I like the Birdseye Maple ones...

These aren’t available anymore, apparently the birdseye maple give the guitars some unpleasant highs to the sound, so they changed it.
Functionally, the updated ones have an extra toggle switch for coil split emulation

Fist Act Sheena is maple over basswood. Everybody should have a maple over basswood guitar. It looks nice too.

I thought those were maple over poplar. I guess I'm not the only one here that has one of those. I always liked that guitar, even though it's a bit funky.

Birdseye maple is harder and higher pitched than flame? Interesting.

pickups are directly mounted into the body. Besides the question how much difference this makes to the tone, I prefer the lack of pickup rings
