If I do any kind of ‘upgrading’ I want it hidden as much as possible.
I’m not trying to do a 100-point restoration, but I want it to look stock at a casual glance while having some enhancements that will help drivability.
For example, the electrical is going to change. I’ll bypass the ammeter in the instrument cluster to keep the high current from having to pass through the bulkhead. Same idea with headlights - I’ll kit them out with relays. I’m going to get a hidden stereo upgrade that will give me high-end audio. I’m up in the air about LED lights, but I’ll probably do it.
 
Super hot, and I love the color. So many of these cool original colors get covered in some of the more wild colors.
