I'm sure I'll get slammed for these, but the sound quality of these 2 albums are great if you play them in a super expensive stereo or a $10 portable tape player.
RHCP Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Depeche Mode's Violator.
And this gem. Whether you like Sinatra or not, Antonio Carlos Jobim was a fabulous singer, songwriter and guitar player and this album from 1967 is great in both production and performance.
Very good. But I would say the LP from 1982 with San Jacinto. The reason is that Gabriel there used a very complicated drum machine, and also included a lot of traditional drums, and then collected strange sounds from a dump, which he put on a synth board. Does not sound so strange today, but he was almost first with it. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL94gOvpr5yt1oEnY2HfkA5O7Y1AZh6hYX
