Barn Storm 2016! 10/21-10/23

I have several amps and guitars, and you're welcome to use anything that I have if you'd rather not pack it all. I also have a shit ton of cables and the like. I have absolutely nothing in the way of PA gear. I may have one mic.

I have the PA covered. I have 3 powered Mackie PA speakers, mixing board, several mics, stands, cables, etc. We'll have a PA this year.

I just didn't know if I needed to bring bass gear. I've generally set up for a full band at my house prior to everyone's arrival, and most folks bring their own guitars and/or amps. I can still bring a bass rig if needed.

And of course, I'll bring at least a couple of guitars and 1 guitar amp.

I suppose I can bring the set again. Might request Prages bring a cymbal or two with my stands. Will need to get a count of what I have first.

Maybe someone could bring a better drum throne too... Right, jello? Or I could just pick up a nicer one before then.

I have a terrible drum throne.

I bought it specifically for Pragestock one year. I think it was $40.

At the end of the weekend, the seat was tilted at about a 45 degree angle.

I'm not sure who was the unlucky person to be sitting on it when it gave out, but I apologize.

Kerouac has a great drum throne, but he probably won't mail it to Barn Storm. :embarrassed:

I have zero bass stuff. @Chad has some...

So it looks like AmTrak from Stamford to that station you mentioned @Guitar Heel will work best for me. Being that I'm not able to drive would anyone be able to grab me at that train station? Looks like the train gets in around 12:30PM...

What should I bring, assuming I can bring one instrument with me? Rosewood Telecaster? Hofner bass?

Don't bring the Tele. I already want to go and I don't think I will and that would just make it even worser.

I should be able to pick you up. Worst case, it'll be a $20 Uber, so you're covered.

@Chad, is my bass rig better than yours? I don't mind bringing it.

My GK head died, so I picked up a Fender Rumble 200 watt head and I still have my GK 15" cab. My only bass is the short scale Musicmaster. If anything, we can use my cab to save you space, but you may want to bring a bass.

Unless something odd pops up, I should be able to grab you on the way out.

I can bring my 210 cab. It's small. I'll throw my ashdown head in the truck too.

And my Jazz Bass.

Count me as tentative dependent on moving. If I come, I'll camp. I love cold weather camping. I can bring my short scale Jaguar Bass too if I end up coming.
The bottom line for me, honestly, is it hope we've moved by then. Not that I don't want to go, but bc it will make school easier on my kids. I hate to uproot them mid-year.

I feel you. When we moved from FL back to VA, I ended up moving in November and the wife and kids didn't come up until school was out.
