At The Movies with Smurfo: Double Feature of Venom Lets The True Carnage Happen and Doone: The Movie

We watched it last night. It's epic in scale and scope and it's gorgeous to look at (Lawrence of Arabia meets Blade Runner), and it's light years better than Lynch's mess, but the whole thing is kind of chilly. That said, I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

I was probably getting a beer.... I started watching when the Monk started chanting in that creepy tuvan monk throat voice. :embarrassed:

Caught the IMAX matinee this afternoon. The movie looked great and stuck to the story very well. They ended in a good spot, kinda a turning point in the story arc.
2023 is a long wait but given the quality of the production I think it will be worth it.
