Grand Prix that is.
I'm all in on street and dirt motorcycle GP racing.

The leaders of the two MXGP(motocross Grand Prix)championships in Europe, are the Coenan brothers. They are twins. They have a week off from MXGP, so they are in the United States to race the Outdoor National Championship. This is the highest level of motocross racing in the United States. This will he exciting to see how they stack up against the best riders racing in the U.S. Both the Coenan brothers have the skill set to win tomorrow.

The MotoGP has been exciting too. This is street racing. Last week, Marc Marquez got back to his winning ways after a brutal, high side get off that had him missing a couple of races.

MX GP & Enduro GP, Moto GP only casually.
SX, MX, GNCC, HEWC, US HE I follow more closely.

MM93's factory duc run has been a phenomenal thing to witness.

I'll probably be at Washougal again this year. It's a great track to spectate at. There's a few spots at the top of horsepower hill where you get a good vantage point of a couple different sections and can really see how the fastest guys make time on the rest of the pack.

I may have oversold MotoGP. While they are the cream of the crop in my opinion, you don't have a chance with an inadequate ride. That's most of the field. This wasn't the case in the 2-stroke days.
I do enjoy the MXGP. I prefer the tracks out here though. I'm a huge Jeffrey Hearlings fan. He was as fast as anyone in his prime. He still is fast.

Washugal is a neat track. It's also seems scary to race on with the shadows and large trees. It seems like the riders have a tough time passing on it sometimes.
That's the one where Trey Canard broke his femur on the same downhill twice right? Ouch!

Are you still riding? It's been a while for me. I still have my old YZ 250. I do have a trip planned. Mountain biking is the closest I've been to riding lately.

Different kind of Grand Prix, but I just got notified that I got tickets to the DC Grand Prix in August. The tickets were free, but had to enter a drawing to get them, and I got 'em. Looking forward to it, should be a cool event.

The course goes in front of the Capitol, and around the Mall. I got tix in the Stripes area.

I hadn't missed an F1 race since the late '90s until they went to Apple TV. I still watch Indycar, IMSA, and if I stumble onto it, MotoGP and drag racing.

24 Hours of Le Mans is on now!

That looks pretty incredible.

Right before that I stopped in a spot that had mt st helens to my right and mt hood to the left. Behind me the valley opens up with a great view of the Columbia gorge. I am fortunate to live in such an amazingly beautiful region.

A view into Washington state from a dual sport ride back in March. Came out of some trails on to a forest road to this:

This is a spot nicknamed Instagram ridge ....for good reason. Awesome trail system in this spot. Haven't been there this year but planning on it next weekend or so. We are going to have an early fire season so its going to need to be soon.
