Amp forum meetup

i'm not sure if this is allowed to post, but would anyone be interested in doing an amp forum meet up? i figure if we got 10 or more amps together, we could just set up in a hall of some kind with our setups and gear. i don't have a place to host, but there are a few venues and halls near me that i could inquire about renting for a few hours. if people chipped in $10 to $20 each, we could get the cost of the hall covered.

I live in NJ outside philly. Is this something that anyone would be interested in? If so, please comment on what amp you would bring or if you would come without an amp.

I have a 5150 iii el34 50 watt.

Thanks for the offer. I no longer live in the Phila. area. If I did I would, but I don't.
 
It’s a good idea. Yet, I’m not close. I would not attend.

Hopefully, there are others in close proximity that can participate.

Another webforum I'm on (much smaller/private) has had a few meetups, around North America. They were several-day parties! A shit-ton of work for the locals though. I've been to the 2 that were in north Georgia. The second one, I brought a whole van full of amps and guitars. Locals brought their stuff, and people from further away just showed up.

Great idea, too bad I'm on the other coast.

But these things are fun, we had one way back in the day when we were all on HCGF! Dave (WineRed82 I think) had one at his place in Burbank and a lot of us So Cal forumites went. It was supposed to be for a guy named Brikus who was here from Europe but he ended up pissing off someone and had a tantrum. We met anyway. Jimmy James and several others were there.

It was humbling, a lot of those guys are really freakin' good!
