I dig it. It's certainly super weird, but still musical in a very odd way. The virtuosity is impressive, especially with how the guitarist/bassist manipulates the loops and effects in real time while playing all those lines, and with how tight the drummer stays.
For me, the microtonal aspect and the artifacts that come from stacking those loops and harmonies keep it interesting. Certainly very different from anything else I've heard.
I see that people call this "math rock". The only other band I've heard that has the "math" label was something called Behold The Arctopus. That was more on the metal side, but I thought it was some of the most grating, monotonous, unending nonsense I've ever heard. Completely devoid of anything that was rhythmically, harmonically, or sonically interesting to me.
