They're REALLY going to hate my submission for round 2.


For those who have never had the opportunity to play Cards Against Humanity with me..... I will often sacrifice a cute, winning card in my hand for one that instead makes the entire table say "Oh gawd... jeeeezus... what the hell dude?..."

It's the most fun when it ends up being something I can use as a callback throughout the evening like when I just kept randomly muttering "Asian Women" which was my answer to something having to do with "Meals best eaten without utensils" or something... but it just kept getting said out loud as the answer for every card.

I was a bit confused on whatsongs were ok to submit. I had another song in mind and actually posted it first but hten i reread and saw NSFW need not apply so I thought "hmm better not put that one" and posted Gary's. I actually had a few and the Gary one was one of the top two.
My other was Hot Cock Annie by the frogs

some pretty<<<<<<see what i did good selections in the list but that first song left me wondering why it was submitted? To me it doesn't seem to have anything at all to do with the theme of the round which was looks...I googled it and read the lyrics and , yeah i don't see how it relates but I guess the themes might not always be clear enough or people interpret the theme in different ways.

I'm out....I missed the round 2 submission deadline because I was accessing the league through the link you initially posted here. it showed the other rounds and had the Grandma round 2 but it was all greyed out and had no clickable link to submit. it said "live at 4pm Friday" Being this was my first league and the fact it was greyed out I figured that meant that we could start submitting out songs on Friday at 4pm.
i also had the music league app on my phone but I never got any notifications until today at 4 pm AZ time and it said "hurry get your submission in 50m left" or something like that. Well i had my song choices written down at home but i had to go to the bank. So on the way to the bank another Music league notification popped up "now live, listen to the playlist" ...so yeah I missed the boat so i don't see any point continuing

Honestly i thought the first round had 2 or 3 that weren't on theme too. the M league has potential but they need some kinda mandatory explanation from the submitter as to why they chose the song or there should be perhaps a timestamp option or something to make it more clear.
also I just looked at the playlist for round 2 and I see what you are talking about only it is showing 15 songs and I thought there were only 12 people in the league

I think it pumped out the playlist automatically for the people who submitted in the tiny window… it was waiting and waiting for one person. Next time it’s that close to deadline, I think I just boot the person and publish the theme to give more time.
