I have a hard enough time with just strumming but tried a percussive type of thing that really didnt work. Maybe I will get time to try somethng else before the end of the day. I just had time to do only one and I am sketchy on that one. I was planning to do a second one but drum programming is what stopped me. Maybe I will do it for a another submission in the future.

I didnt do any drums for these. In fact, I havent done drums for a while. I havent quite figured it out so I have been skipping it. I figured I could get away with it on the acoustic theme but I think I am going to have to roll up my sleeves and learn it sooner or later.

My submission has no drums as well. I just wanted the second one to work that way but egg timer went off. Can't even work on anything tonight and cram as we are taking our son out to celebrate his 17th birthday. Drum programming takes time.
 
I have one sans drums and one with kick ass drums (thanks to Dexter). I'm not overwhelmed with my acoustic sound but I really need two mics to do it right and I only have one right now. Actually three or four would be optimal, but I only have two inputs on my recording DI...
 
Well - my first ever MWGF recording entry has been sent to Mr. Wein. I'm a bit nervous submitting with all you players and previous submitters. You guys put some serious stuff together. But I couldn't pass on the acoustic event.

I wouldn't worry...some of us don't take it all that seriously.:wink:

Me too. I recently reinstalled the OS on my computer and since then Cubase isn't working. I just said screw it and shot a video clip.

I'm heading home from work right now...I'll probably be back on in a bit to post the reveal before I go to bed so that you guys have it in the morning...:)
