not totally my cup of tea aesthetically, but multiscale is great for 'normal' tunings. It's more about feel/clarity, not intonation (more tension in those lower strings without having to use heavy gauges, which come with their own muddy toned issues). It's basically just a compromise between playing a standard scale guitar and a baritone scale. Baritone scales are associated with lower tunings (for obvious reasons), but they're also super cool for standard tunings, because you can use lighter strings and get a very crisp clear tone
