This superb 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback is entirely original and unrestored and shows a remarkably low 8,064 miles on the odometer. The quality of this car is such that it has earned the Shelby Originality Award, one of the highest honors available in the Ford collector hobby. Its Raven Black exterior is matched by the Black Deluxe Décor interior that was standard equipment on the Boss. Additional equipment includes a front spoiler, trunk-mounted 85-amp battery, high-back bucket seats, Deluxe seat belts with warning light, AM radio and center console, Traction-Lok differential, power steering and front disc brakes, Visibility group, competition suspension and color-keyed racing mirrors. This rare Boss is well documented with two build sheets, window sticker, the 1969 sales contract, owner card, the original title and more.

I was more a fan of the General's cars when younger, but i always loved the 69 70 mustangs. They were lovely.

Most of those cars cost more than my house. I wonder if they'll take 20 years of payments?

Wow. That is pretty much my dream car.

Mine too. But is it strange to anyone else that a car with 8,000 miles still has a window sticker on it? Did someone know in 1969 that the car would be worth that much 40 years later? Maybe I'm missing something.

But yes, this is the car I would get if I could get any car.

Probably, the Boss 429 was very limited production. If i recall, Ford had to modify the engine bay and parts of the front end on each car to accommodate that giant motor. So the buyer probably did think it would end up being worth something.

And the funny thing is that you can get 4 cylinders now that put out more power. :embarrassed:

I think I was stuck on the idea that it was on the window for those 8,000 miles. I am sure it is taped on for the picture. I am a little slow on the pick up sometimes. :embarrassed:

It certainly makes sense someone would keep the sticker. I am pretty sure I still have the sticker for my highly collectable 2008 F150. :)
