Rickenbacker Model 620 Owned by Ted Turner

This Rickenbacker Model 620 is Owned by Ted Turner.

The Model 620 features the famous 'Cresting Wave' Maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's. A Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through.

The 620 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the 300 series, complete with Rickenbacker's own high gain pickups and stereo output. Successfully retaining the balance from the original specifications, the 620 is another fine example of Rickenbacker quality workmanship.

That color on a Strat would be fine. I've owned 4 Ric 620s. I like them Black or Midnight Blue. I don't really like Fireglow, but I'll allow it since that was the color on Damn the Torpedoes.

Nice. And the plain trapeze tailpiece instead of that frustrating R contraption is a plus. Not sure if that's original to this model though.

BTW, that's a 660 not a 620. The 620s have the Ric-o-Sound, the high gain pickups and the R tail piece.
