Always liked the Yamaha SGs and despite my general disinterest in gold tops/finishes, I dig this one a lot.

On the one hand ....I fucking love it!!
On the other my Les Paul Standard cost less than that.
I know pricing is something I comment on a lot. But to me it factors into wether it's something I would consider wanting to own. In this case the pricing put this into the "do not want to own" category. I'd buy a DC Les Paul at that price first.

I'd try it. I had the cheap SG200 version years ago, and it was a great sounding guitar but I never got on with the way it hung on a strap. Seemed offset to the left compared to my other guitars.
