I really dislike those D'Angelico art-deco headstocks, but otherwise it's OK. I believe it comes from the same factory in Korea (SPG) as my Guild Starfire, which has about the best fit and finish of any new guitar I've owned recently. They make the Newport Street Series, the D'Angelicos and the Gretsch Electromatic hollow and semi-hollow electrics.
 
I'm not a big Dead fan, even if I did see them a couple times on purpose and enjoyed the shows. However, there's something about this particular guitar that I freaking love. Would, with gusto.
 
Im a Deadhead and I would not buy that guitar because of the awful graphics.
Sorriest excuse for a lightning bolt Ive ever seen.
Hell even Bobby would balk that. Not even with short shorts.

Well said and seconded. It's just not the Stolen Face. Too clunky, which seems really disrespectful.

And I have a very, very hard time remembering a semi-hollow being connected to the Dead in any way.
 
Kinda kitchy, but I like it ok. The red is way too subdued though. If you are going to do a SYF, do it don't half ass it. And I hate painted necks.

Still, it would be fun to have to play Brown Eyed Women on. And the SYF on the headstock is redundant. A Jerry Bear pearl inlay would have been cool.

Hate the solid body POS though.
