Warmoth parts guitar I put together, finished, and slightly modified.

-Mahogany Jazzmaster body with flamed maple top; This has the Warmoth contoured heel and I also shaved off the corner to make it even more comfortable and used the offset neck plate instead of the standard rectangle plate

-Roasted maple Warmoth “standard thin” neck with compound rosewood fretboard (10”-16”)and stainless steel frets; Neck has been plek’d in Austin, TX

-Headstock is Stratocaster shape with a rosewood overlay

-Hipshot locking tuners; Hipshot hard tail bridge; Earvana compensated nut

-Fishman Fluence Classic humbuckers direct mounted to body; These are the original versions with two voicings (No built in single coil 3rd voice) Built in rechargeable lithium battery so no need for 9v batteries

- Body is stained and finished in Tru oil, not a super high gloss polyurethane. This finish is done by hand and has slight imperfections.

-Truly one of a kind; Will ship in Gator hardshell case

Two nitpicks.
  1. When contouring the heel, it should better follow the line of the neck plate
  2. What's with the one screw on the neck plate, is that an extra strap button?
  3. (Bonus) I think the headstock veneer and that huge truss rod cover are ugly

I'm not a fan of purple guitar, but that is a really nice looking top. Not for me, but a cool guitar.

meh....$1,600 for that ok-at-best finish on a parts-master w/ that parts spec isn't really doing it for me. I'd probably rather spend a few duckets less on some offset-ish reverend thing if I wanted a 2 bucker hardtail JM style guitar.

To me it looks like a superstrat poorly disguised as a Jazzmaster, so that's a big no from me.
