Are there any other lunchbox amps...

Ooh, just stumbled on the VHT Special 6 Ultra. Also a possible contender.

I just picked one up. A good clean sound and takes pedals very well.

I've been playing through a Traynor Darkhorse..... 15 watt 6V6 tubes with no bullshit up front. There's a toggle switch to sculpt the mids and then bass and treble knobs. I dial a little preamp gain for compression but use the master pretty high for a nice clean tone, then rock my Pinnacle Deluxe for gain.

Very tiny lunchbox that comes with a carry bag... it's actually a smidge smaller than a Tiny Terror.

I haz a jealous!
Actually, I was thinking about the combo version. And I'm more concerned with its range of distortion types. I almost never play an electric totally clean. It seems like it has a pretty wide range of tonal possibilities from the clips I've heard--not quite in the Suhr territory, but pretty freaking close for the price point.

I checked that out. It's nice, but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

Are you looking for an amp just for recording or does it need to do double duty?
Mainly recording/at home practice. I suppose I could use it (the VHT) as a backup for gigs if it's going to be miked, but that's not my focus. If I did end up saving up for the Suhr, it wouldn't leave my music room.
