"Got pretty marked up, didn't it?"

I'll have to check out the video's later.

I have always been amazed by the Harrison/Clapton friendship that even survived Patti going from George to Eric.

I thought it was pretty interesting the way Scorsese covered that part in Living in the Material World, with Clapton talking about how easygoing George was about it, and Pattie Boyd saying pretty much the opposite. Two contradictory views presented without any editorial attempt to explain it, because the truth is probably somewhere in between.

I would guess that George had the common blue-collar idea that women are deceitful and also that your mate (as in friend) is your mate.

I was going to give it to George because I already had one.

Wait, this does not compute! We all need 7 or 8 Les Pauls, don't we?

He didn't seem too grounded when he complained to a server in Calgary about the $5 for a beer. The server didn't know who he was and she said "look buddy, you can pay $5 from me or you can go wait in that line and pay $5 at the bar"

I would love to have given that girl a hug and a tip after that one.

Not really a fan but the ol' f'er can play, there's no doubt about that.

Really, that's the best you got? I've heard much more incrimitating stories concerning celebs like Stallone, Nicholsen, Michael Jordan, Oscar DeLahoya, Streisand, Lebron James etc., ad infinitum. Not to mention the insane feuding rappers. Course I live in Vegas.

Big fan of his musical contributions but I have to agree, not so sure I'd like him in real life either.

I would hang out with him and John Mayer both any time! They both see it differently than most people do. Kinda makes them different, but interesting in their own way. Plus they are both great players.
