I've always liked the pink paisley Teles. GC had one of those available but it was more than I wanted to spend. I wanted one of the black paisleys when they first came out. But I waited too long. Now they are selling at a premium. Places are asking MSRP for the few new ones that are left. I found this one for the price of a used MIM Standard Tele so I jumped at it. It will likely be my last guitar purchase for a long time. My collection is right where I want it right now.

That's sweet.

I opened the LP today. It's pretty nice. I like the faded/satin finish. I'm sure without all those layers of paint and such it makes it somewhat lighter. Very resonant unplugged too. It has that baked maple neck which I really have no problem with. The baked maple may increase brightness. idn_smilie
No flaws whatsoever. So far so good. I'll post some photos later.

The blizzard is here. It's snowing like a SOB. If we get as much as they are predicting I may be taking a snow day tomorrow. Maybe I can work on some recording. I got a rough draft of our new song with vocals Friday. May try to put down some guitar tracks. We should be really close to recording a final take. We have two more songs that I wrote the music for in the works. I would really like to get some vocals down on those soon also.
