Oh, I'm pretty good at figuring these things out... I haven't actually played guitar for over a week, so this is my excuse... Plus, I'll have the house alone for a bunch of hours today... So, while Mark is having a blues clinic, playing into clean amps, and teaching nifty blues riffs, I will be wanking loudly, with lots of gain, attempting to destroy E Phrygian dominant scale...
 
I think I killed that one this morning, sorry

actually got in some good guitar time today.
and might just have the beginnings for one awesome metal tune too.
maybe save it for the next Peekertones cd.

speaking of, I did an interview yesterday with a Winnipeg paper for the upcoming MUNG gig.
mentioned my solo album too...hopefully make some sales that way.:wink:

was funny, did interview over the phone while at work (my cell, since it was long distance)
my 15min coffee break ran closer to 40 minutes...:embarrassed:

Yeah, it's a really nice guitar. These Fender vintage tele pickups are very good.

Is this the mirrored guard? Can't wait.

So, Tony and I went over the details of my guitar last night. It'll start with a slab that gets cut into a ring the shape of a guitar. Kinda like bent wood sides for an acoustic, but thicker. Then, a 1/4" walnut back gets put on and a 3/16" paduak top. Walnut neck, rosewood archtop bridge and trap tail. The body size and shape will be copied from the Kat. Flame maple binding for the body (double bound top and back). The neck and F holes get the same binding.

Gotta be a whore to do this stuff.
 
Man, I'm worried about our gig tonight. Ash broke up with his girlfriend. In the long run I believe this is a very good thing. We've been having problems with him and I think it will get better without the crack whore around. We just have to make it through this show tonight without him getting drunk off his ass or so messed up in the head he can't perform.
