Achtung! Who else here has a watch fetish?

I dig it.

Bronze diving watches can look cool as fuck.

The bad ones, though, have that steampunk aesthetic, which I really really really hate.

I’ve actually been eyeing this one:

A couple of years later, I got a Tudor Black Bay.

Went with a little gold instead of a ton of brass.

The TS watches were sold in Japan for about $275 to $300 depending on the exchange rate. They sell for more in the reseller market.

A little while back I took my watch out of the winder and the entire face had rotated about 170 degrees. Yesterday I took it to the watch repair shop and was told that it is broken. My guess is that a 14 year old boy was involved in that. Now I’m waiting for an estimate on repairs. It’s just a Bulova, so I might end up telling them to trash it. I probably won’t end up with another watch because I don’t wear one enough to justify the expense unless I just find something cool on eBay.

I've not had a Christopher Ward watch. I liked the one they came out with that chimed, but the more I thought about it, the more I figured it was pretty much useless as a complication and would probably just end up annoying me when I forgot to turn it off at night.

That's just my thoughts, though. They're supposed to be good watches.

Nice watch. Interesting that the numbers vs bars is the complete opposite of my daily wearer. That is, yours has 12, 3, 6 and 9, while mine has everything else. Go figure.

Yeah. All Ball watches use tritium in tubes vs luminova for their illumination, so there's only so much they can do with the numerals on the face. I like the Citizen! A whole lot going on there. Actually, the more I look at that, the more I like it! Nice.

Very nice!

I like Ball's more understated designs, such as yours. Some of their designs are pretty far out there, and a lot of them, well....I honestly don't have the wrist to wear them.

And yeah.....Tritium is very cool. Takes a little getting used to. Ball sometimes gets it right, and sometimes they don't, but it's a cool medium to work in. Overall, I'm a big fan. I have 4 of them, but one needs to go in for service. I'll try to get a group shot.
