I almost forgot…The custom bass drum head for the event won’t be delivered on time so Mrs Wein was able to take artwork from the school’s marketing department and apply it to a new head for me. Pics later when I do the surgery.

I hope you remind your wife how awesome she is regularly. The ornament she made with the dumpster fire is a permanent fixture on our Christmas tree.

Yes...the show for the event is themed as a 1960's variety show, complete with commercials, a host and a theme song. During parts of the show, we "go to commercial" and the stage gets reset like live TV, and the kids have to stay in character.

I'm just getting going this morning so I'll post some video and audio when I get a chance. And some info about how the day went.

ok...so the update is that they are playing two songs at the Children's Hospital Orange County's gala opening for Christina Aguilera on May 9th. Also, we have our Season FInale at Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts and Graduation this coming month. I also have (for my conservatory) our Senior Showcase and Original Showcase concerts.
